Graduated in Hungary and in the UK, I have been teaching students in various Urban Development (Economics MSc) programmes for over 15 years. My foci of interest are urban sprawl, decay and gentrification, local decision-making, local development, especially in Eastern Central Europe but with an overall sight covering the EU and North America. At the moment I am heading a 3 year extensive research programme for the Ministry of Interior of Hungary scrutinising the connection between the municipalities and local residents.
